“Renovations, Modifications, and Additions to Matt Elementary, Sawnee Elementary, Vickery Creek Elementary, & Vickery Creek Middle ” project for Forsyth County Schools:.

 

The projects consist of but are not limited to the following scopes of work:

  • Matt ES: Mechanical renovation (including unit replacements, electrical upgrades & interior ceiling replacements), selective exterior painting (EIFS areas), kitchen equipment replacement , water heater & cooler replacement

  • Sawnee ES: Asphalt parking repairs, mechanical renovation (including unit replacements, electrical upgrades & interior ceiling replacements), selective interior painting, kitchen equipment replacement , water heater & cooler replacement

  • Vickery Creek ES:  Asphalt parking repairs, Mechanical renovation (including unit replacements, electrical upgrades & interior ceiling replacements),main entry storefront replacement, kitchen equipment replacement , water heater & cooler replacement

  • Vickery Creek MS: Asphalt parking repairs, Existing Detention Pond Cleaning/Maintenance, Mechanical renovation (including unit replacements, electrical upgrades & interior ceiling replacements),selective exterior painting (EIRS areas), kitchen equipment replacement , water heater & cooler replacement; 1,271 SF band room addition

  • Work shall commence after September 2024 and Substantial completion on or before December 31, 2025.

  • 100% Payment & Performance Bonds are required for Sprinkler, Electrical, Plumbing & Roofing Subcontractors. Please include your bond rates on your quotes, as a separate line item.

  • Mechanical Subcontractors provide Qualifications & Experience Form (Part 3) with your quotes.

  • Per the Proposal Form: Allowances and Unit Prices are required for various scopes; please include these prices on your quotes.

  • Per Section 01 23 00, if applicable please include the following Alternates on your quote:

·         Alternate No. 1:  Pricing for all (3) Three VRF/VRV & DDS manufacturers (Daikin, Mitsubishi and Trane) by indicating which manufacturer is included in the base bid and then state the added price to provide each of the other two manufacturers should the owner choose.

·         Alternate No. 2: Pricing for all (3) Three Energy Recovery Ventilation Unit manufacturers (NovelAir Technologies, AnnexAire Inc. and Innovent) by indicating which manufacturer is included in the base bid, the lead time and then state the added price to provide each of the other two manufacturers should the owner choose.

·         Alternate No. 3: Pricing for Owner Preferred Manufacturer - Dishwasher: Hobart

·         Alternate No. 4: Pricing for Owner Preferred Manufacturer - Combi Ovens: Cleveland/Convotherm  

·         Alternate No. 5: Not Used

·         Alternate No. 6:  Pricing to be added or deducted from Base Bid Sum and number of consecutive calendar days to be added to or deducted from proposed Contract Time to provide LED lights in ceiling that are replaced at the Renovations and Modifications portion of MAT, SAW, VCE & VCM school(s). Refer to the documents for additional information.

·         Alternate No. 7: Pricing to be added or deducted from Base Bid Sum and number of consecutive calendar days to be added to or deducted from proposed Contract Time to replace generator at Sawnee Elementary School Building 2.

·         Alternate No. 8:  Pricing to be added or deducted from Base Bid Sum and number of consecutive calendar days to be added to or deducted from proposed Contract Time to replace the existing maintenance free exit signs with new circuited LED exit signs (in lieu of the non- wired option in the base bid) at Vickery Creek Middle school.

·         Alternate No. 9:  Pricing to be added to or deducted from Base Bid Sum and number of consecutive calendar days to be added to or deducted from proposed Contract Time to leave the existing HVAC units serving the administration area in place, in lieu of providing a new variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems at SAW (Building 1 & 2) and VCE and the associated electrical, plumbing, and architectural scope of work. The associated outside air unit for the VRF systems at SAW Bldg 2 and VCE should be deducted from the scope of work with this alternate and their associated electrical, plumbing, and architectural scope of work.

·         Alternate No. 10: Provide pricing information and corresponding model numbers for all HVAC equipment (rooftop air conditioners, water source heat pumps, split system heat pumps, wall hung units, etc.) other than variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems to provide them with EPA approved A2L refrigerants (R-32, R-454B, etc.) for which the contractor has model numbers and pricing available.
